Conducting Seminar
Dr. Reagan Paras
Dr. Reagan Paras
Elevate your artistry on the podium by registering for our dynamic, one-week conducting seminar led by Dr. Reagan Paras. Open to conductors of all experience levels, this intensive course allows you to join KMI Level participants to earn Professional Development Points (PDPs) or one graduate credit. The seminar operates as a live choral laboratory, offering a collaborative, hands-on environment where each student actively conducts, "warms up," and rehearses their peers. Whether you are mastering the basics or refining advanced skills, the class will explore essential podium topics tailored to your growth, including conducting patterns, effective rehearsal techniques, and the stylistic interpretation of diverse repertoire. The week culminates in a final performance and laboratory showcase, providing the invaluable opportunity to conduct the ensemble and receive personalized, constructive feedback from our conducting faculty.
